First Form WWII Trip

07 May 2014

This term, the First Form are learning all about World War II. Today, they went to the Chiltern Open Air Museum where they travelled back in time to discover what life was like for a child being evacuated during World War II, and investigate what their homes might have been like. They also had the opportunity to take part in drill practice and decipher a coded message.

Investigating the postwar house!

Looking at the kitchen.

Getting ready for a gas attack!

Creating a message decoder.

Drill practice.
