Bertie's Success in the Richmond Festival

20 May 2021

The Richmond upon Thames Performing Arts Festival, is a long-standing festival, founded in 1929. Providing a chance to celebrate the arts, festivals have always been a great platform for performers to present their works and receive acknowledgement and encouragement from professional adjudicators.

We have exciting news, that Bertie D (4th Form) won the 'Junior Concerto' class of the Wind and Brass section, in the most recent of these festivals. Our extensive music programme (in which we deliver about 180 lessons a week) is a great chance for boys at Caldicott to pursue their passions, as well develop the confidence and other 'soft skills' that comes through performances such as these. Congratulations to Bertie, for not only putting the hard work in to preparing, but also for having a great accomplishment to show for it!
