The Long Wait For Fixtures is Over

27 April 2021

The Summer Term at Caldicott signifies a whole host of exciting opportunities, events and occasions for the boys. A cause of particular excitement is the return of cricket; after two terms changing between rugby and football as the ‘main’ sport, the boys finally put their best cricket whites on as they took to the field last Saturday in a range of fixtures against Summer Fields.

From the U10 As to the U13 Ds, all our boys played meaningful matches against their Summer Fields counter parts. The opportunity to play competitive fixtures against other schools after such a long hiatus was appreciated by boys and the Sports Team.

Winning the majority of the 14 games that were played, the boys showed a desire to start the Cricket Term off with a flourish. Our most impressive batsman was JC (Y6) who scored a notable 48 runs, contributing almost half of the total innings for the U11 As.
