2nd Form (Year 4) Declamations

12 March 2021

The Declamation competition is a key event in the Caldicott Academic calendar. With the 3rd to 6th Form already having completed their Declamations, the 2nd Form couldn't wait to showcase their skills - which they did very impressively. The 1st Form will be competing in the Summer Term.

The 2nd Form declamations went incredibly well, with Mr Evans having the near-impossible job of selecting winners, which he has done below:

Joint 3rd place - Joshua SG : Macavity the Mystery Cat by T.S. Eliot

Joint 3rd Place - Axi FM: The Tyger by William Blake

2nd Place - Sebastian C: The thing beneath my bed - Barbara Vance

1st Place - Louis P: Matilda who told lies - Hillaire Belloc

Special Prize - Rory H - Midterm Break by Seamus Heaney
