Henry, Archie and Ben | Scholarship Success

09 March 2021

A massive congratulations is in order for three of our 6th Form (Year 8) boys, who have already managed to secure scholarships at top Senior schools.

Henry C, has just had earnt himself an Academic Scholarship to Radley College. Gaining top marks in virtually all subjects, Henry should be incredibly proud of his accomplishment as it takes great work ethic and determination to achieve this. Unsurprisingly, scholarships are very highly sought after, and the brilliant news of Henry's Academic scholarship has come only weeks after he secured a Music Exhibition, also at Radley! Mr Banks dropped Henry his first tie off in person; it was much easier to congratulate Henry this time around, with everyone back in school!

Archie M also managed to secure himself an impressive scholarship over the most recent lockdown, the Roxburgh Scholarship at Stowe. In addition to strong academic potential, candidates must display excellence in at least one other area. Archie played Don Pedro in the most recent school play, Much Ado About Nothing, and is a regular performer in Caldicott's concerts.

Ben J received the news last term that he had been awarded a Sports Scholarship at Sedbergh, with excellence in Rugby. Sport is a major component in the lives for many Caldicott boys, and we are so proud of our 'sports for all' ethos, however, when a boy reaches a high level and is commended appropriately, it is a source of great pride for the school.

All three are truly outstanding Caldicott boys - well done to you, all the hard work has paid off!
