Talking Sports: Emily Blagden, World Record Holder in Rowing

09 February 2021

Over the past few weeks the Sports department has been working tirelessly to provide the Caldicott community with interviews from various figures in the sporting world. So far, we've been fortunate enough to hear from James Gaunt (DoS at Radley), Greg Hobson (youth cricket coach in SA) and David Seymour (ex-professional Rugby player). These impressive people from the sporting world have provided us a unique insight across the board; this week we have another figure providing a different perspective.

Mr Blagdan speaks to his sister, Emily Blagden, who was a part of the first all-female team to row 2,400 miles across the Pacific Ocean in the Great Pacific Race. A world record holder and person of particular grit and determination; this is a brilliant opportunity to learn from another high achiever.
