Caldicott Celebrates National Boarding Day

08 October 2018

On Saturday 6 October, Caldicott celebrated National Boarding Day. Organised by the British Boarding Association (BSA), the day is an opportunity to promote boarding communities.

The Caldicott boys embraced the day and highlighted through photographs, their day at a boarding school. Starting with a delicious breakfast, boys had morning lessons followed by a hearty lunch to get them set for their afternoon rugby fixtures. After their games sessions, it was straight for a snack, call home and relax. Not to be put off by the wet weather, the boys managed to fit in a group photograph! Hard working but filled with happiness.

Boarding lies at the heart of Caldicott. It helps build a unique sense of community by living and working together harmoniously and developing independence before the boys start their senior school journey.

The boys thoroughly enjoyed showing everyone what it is like to be part of the boarding community at Caldicott. Follow the Caldicott Boarding Twitter feed for more news and stories from ‘upstairs’.
