National Portrait Gallery

10 November 2016

Last Wednesday the first form went to the National Portrait Gallery in London.

The boys enjoyed a tour of the Tudor Galleries and a talk about some of the beautiful paintings. They learnt lots of things about both History and Art of the period and discussed with each other different aspects of various pictures.

This term we have been studying portraits in the art room and the boys have worked on self portraits and have just begun work on a collage of Queen Elizabeth the first.
