Just as our founder, Mr J Heald Jenkins, believed that ‘decency, tolerance and humanity’ would enable each boy to ‘shine their light on the world’, so too does Mr Banks believe that good character is the key to achieving happiness and success.

All boys leave Caldicott with the ability and desire to take their place as global citizens, leading lives of significance, integrity and value.

Caldicott values are perseverance, integrity, courage, compassion and humour. These words are both an inspiration and an anchor, ensuring that all we do is in the best interest of the boys. Caldicott teachers don’t just pay lip service to the concept of character education, they are encouraged to continually reflect on the delivery and content of their subject so that it aligns with the goals of instilling and inspiring positive morals, ideals and conduct.
