Individual Music Lessons: Mr Wild’s message to parents

08 January 2021

Dear Parents

I hope you are all well and that the first encounter with Virtual Caldicott this term has gone well for your boys.

I hope you all received my letter regarding Individual Music Lessons and how we will continue to deliver these during this period of closure. Essentially, it is the same as last time in terms of teaching and attending, but the times will still rotate to enable the school timetable to operate.

Making music is also a great way to remove ourselves from the ardours of working in isolation, and also provides a different activity for the brain and valuable high quality social and intelligent interaction at the same time. We really want to continue to help our musicians progress at this time, and we were really impressed by their progress and improvement last lockdown, so we know this can happen and hope that you will support this for your sons too.

Teaching will commence this Monday 11th January. Thank you to all those of you who have already returned the consent form for these lessons. If you have not already done so please do so promptly via this link so I can arrange everything in time for Monday. https://bit.ly/35gMBMp

Trusting you all stay well and with all good wishes

James

Below are photos of our Lunchtime Concert, which took place last term, to remind us all of of what the boys are working towards in their music lessons. Additionally, click here to watch a brilliant video of our Caldicott boys singing Non Nobis Domine.
