Question of the Week

Is it natural to be greedy? If yes, does that make being greedy ok?

There were no winners this week. Ma'am Naidoo encouraged boys to think carefully about the next question over half term.

Cricket Fixture Results

Caldicott cricketers continue to go from strength to strength this season. This week Caldicott have played 24 matches with 22 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. To see details of all the latest fixture scores click here.

Special congratulations to A. Hampshire who took 6 wickets for 22 runs in one match. His name will be added to the Honours Board in the pavillion.

Swimming Gala

Caldicott hosted their second gala of the season this week against The Beacon. It was another successful day in the pool for Caldicott's swimmers who ended the event with 227 points, beating The Beacon's 182 point total.

Very well done to T. Glazebrook who won all of his five races. The following boys also won their events:

The U13 A relay team also remain undefeated after two galas and the U9 B medley relay team beat the opposition's A team.

Golf Fixture Results

Horris Trophy

On Thursday 19th May A. Man, D. Stone, N. Harris, S. Wardlaw played in the Horris Trophy at Horris Hill and managed to finish 4th out of 6 schools.Well done!

Independent Schools Golf Association League

The Caldicott golfers played their second and final match in the ISGA League. The Caldicott A pair of J. Brockman and C. Deram improved on their first round score but had to settle for 5th in the league out of 11 (with only the top 3 qualifying for the national final). The Caldicott B pair of L. Ritchie and R. Flora finished 6th.

Caldicott House Golf tournament

The inaugural Caldicott House Golf tournament was contested over 6 holes at South Bucks Academy golf course on 10th May. Individual highlights in the junior competition were S. Strauss’s score of 28 strokes, J. Williams’s 30 and H. Deane-Johns’s 34. In the senior competition J. Brockman had a level par round of 22, L. Ritchie was one behind with 23, and C. Deram had 27.

Junior House results: 4th place to Jenkins, 3rd to Wood, 2nd to McArthur and the winners were Cooper.
