Readathon

16 June 2017

For World Book Day this year, boys in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Forms took part in a nationwide Readathon.  Sponsorship has now been collated and we are proud to announce that we raised £2390,45 for charity.  The money will go towards the World Book Day charities of Read for Good, CLIC Sargent and Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.  All these charities provide books and support for children in hospital and their families.

The School also received a voucher to spend on books for our own library and two lucky winners, who showed determination in raising money, were given National Book Tokens each.  Well done goes to Hari K (1st Form) and James P (3rd Form).

We are proud as a school to support these charities and will be taking part again next year.
