At the end of the Spring Term, boys in the 2nd Form took part in three days of team building and adrenaline filled activities at the Marchants Hill PGL Centre in Surrey.
Despite the heavy rain the boys really made the most of the opportunity to work in teams and to come together as a year group. Activities included leaping off the zip wire, testing their nerve on Jacob’s ladder, honing their archery skills, abseiling, low ropes and orienteering. A highlight of the trip was in the evening where the boys wrapped up warm and equipped with their torches headed outside in the dark for games.
The trip was a huge success and very much enjoyed by all, boys and staff. Head of 2nd Form Ma’am Riddell said “We were all very impressed to see the boys challenge themselves and in some cases confront very real fears. They did this with great adventurous spirit, resilience and determination. It was a hugely enjoyable and successful trip away!”
