Intermediate Maths Challenge

20 April 2015

The intermediate maths challenge is a maths competition aimed at students in their GCSE years aged 14-16, although open to younger students. This is the first time we have entered students in recent years, entering 10 students, with 8 receiving an award, and 5 gaining entry into a follow on competition.  Nationally only 40% of entrants gain an award of any kind with only the top 7% achieving a gold award.  Therefore these are an exceptional set of results, even more so given the age of our boys.  To add to that 5 boys being entered into a follow competition is an outstanding achievement by the boys.
