The Boarders' Flying Tying Club

Following the success of last week’s ‘inch worm’, Mr Bentall and the boys embarked on a new challenge – making a ‘montana nymph’. The application of the hackle proved tricky and it was decided that we would be better off practising this before applying it to a fly. Consequently, a new pattern was improvised and was appropriately named the ‘Lemon Peel Montana’ – collectively agreed after R Peel’s yellow chenille finish was agreed and used by all.
