On Sunday 9th June I went fishing with some other boys from school and their parents. We were fishing for trout using fly rods, reels and artificial flies for bait. When I started fishing, on the first cast I hooked a fish but it snapped the line. I was disappointed but I learnt my lesson quickly and this didn't happen again. Then I changed my fly and after three casts I hooked another fish which turned out to be huge! It took me a long time to get it into the net and my dad helped me land the fish. By the end of the day, I had two fish to take home for dinner and I'd had a lot of fun with the other boys. Overall, it was an excellent day.
