On Thursday 9th June the Caldicott Athletics squad travelled to Radley College to compete in their fantastic annual prep-schools athletics meeting. It was a beautifully warm and sunny afternoon which, combined with the top class athletics facilities on offer there provided excellent conditions for our Caldicott boys to reach their best standards yet. They did not disappoint, with many managing to achieve new 'personal bests' in their events and some even setting new Caldicott records in the process.
Like our Caldicott meeting, this was a team event with all competitors from each age group earning points for their school. I am delighted to say that when all results were finally processed, Caldicott came first out of the 11 schools competing and so were crowned champions of the competition. A huge congratulations must be given to all of our young athletes who did Caldicott proud. It was thanks to everyone's contribution to our points total that we won the trophy, but some special mentions are given to the following:
