Six of our boys from Wood house visited Arbour Vale School today to take part in an Art class. A number of the children from the special school receive long term treatment at Great Ormond Street Hospital, which is the Wood charity this year. It was a fantastic lesson which involved us all working together to make a colourful selection of crowns and coronets, and ended with a sing song of the Disney classic Let it Go. Our boys learned a great deal about the disabilities that the children are living with and the impact that this can have on their learning.
They interacted really well with the Arbour Vale students and were a real credit to themselves and the school. We look forward to Arbour Vale visiting us in the Summer for a game of cricket.
