My friend Jack and I, as well as 4 senior teachers and 2 BSA (Boarding School Association) officials gathered down on (the rather cold) Spensfield to plant a tree. This tree represented the unity of, not just my school, Caldicott’s community, but boarding communities across the country. I felt very privileged to be a part of the event.
For me the Caldicott community is a place where you are encouraged to do the very best and if you fail you are not criticised but shown to learn from your mistakes and try again. Not only that but, in the community, if you have a problem there is always someone to talk to about it. That’s why I feel proud to be a part of such a great, nurturing community.
